"I'm definitely thinking about the next record. I'm a multi-tasker," Rihanna told Capital FM. "Right now we're working on collecting and creating the sound first before we even start working on the lyrical direction or melodies.

"I kind of have an idea though, and it's very rough right now. So I'm eager to start that."

However, Rihanna said that before she completely dedicates her time to a new record she has an exciting fashion project in the pipeline.

She teased: "Before that we'll be getting into more fashion stuff and, I can't really talk about it, but my fans will be very happy, especially my British fans."

Rihanna recently defended herself from criticism that she is a bad role model for young fans bysaying that she doesn't want to compromise her art.

Katy Perry Wants Everyone To Know She's Still Single

Keep it single girl!!

From perezhilton.com

Despite reports that she's been up close and personal with the super seksi Baptiste Giabiconi, Katy Perry is maintaining that she is, in fact, still single!

The pop star, who divorced Russell Brand earlier in the year and was said to have moved on to the model when they met at Paris Fashion Week, wrote via Twitter last night:

"Just ate a ton of garlic, heard it's an immune booster #hopeitwerks #mandeflecter #singleandsatisfied"

HA! If that doesn't say "I'm not interested in a relationship" we don't know what does!

And why should she be? She's just been through a divorce!

Her main focus should be having fun and getting back to what makes HER happy, not rebounding!

Enjoy the single life, gurl!

And if you have to pick up a few super handsome male models along the way for some funsies, then so be it! Ha!

Modern Family Looking For More $$$

It is a pretty amazing show, but do you think they deserve this much?

From thehollywoodreporter.com

With third-season production on ABC’s top-rated and Emmy-winning comedy Modern Family ending in early March, representatives for the series’ six adult castmembers have begun formulating a plan to negotiate significantly higher salaries with producer 20th Television, according to multiple sources.

Castmembers Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Sofia Vergara were paid in the $65,000-an-episode range for the 22-episode third season, according to sources, a fee that was bumped up from the first two seasons last summer. (Stonestreet was making merely $20,000 an episode or so for the first season, when he won an Emmy, one of 11 wins for the series.) Ed O’Neill, who came to Modern Familyafter success on Married … With Children and other series, makes in the $105,000 range an episode, plus a small backend he receives for agreeing to cut his quote to join the series in 2009. (O’Neill was considered the “get” whenModern Family was casting, taking on the patriarch role when Craig T. Nelson passed.)

Now the series is heading into its all-important fourth season, when casts often renegotiate their contracts, scoring big paydays in exchange for agreeing to extend original seven-year deals by an additional year or two so the studio can generate bigger syndication revenue. One source suggested the cast could ask for a jump to the $200,000-an-episode range for season four, which would be on par with the three stars of CBS’ The Big Bang Theory when they re-upped after their show’s third season in 2010. Reps will seek additional boosts of $50,000 to $100,000 for subsequent seasons, but 20th is likely to resist opening the vault for a cast with twice as many leads as the Big Bang trio.

“It’s going to get ugly,” says a source close to the dealmaking.

Can Eating Chocolate Make You Slim?

Well THIS is some great news! Wishing I had a chocolate stash now.

According to CBC.ca...

People who eat chocolate frequently tend to have a lower body mass index than those who don't eat it as often, U.S. researchers have found.

For the study in Monday's online issue of the Archives of Internal Medicine, researchers asked 1,017 healthy men and women aged 20 to 85 how many times a week they ate chocolate. Participants also filled in questionnaires about their diet and lifestyle.

Study author Dr. Beatrice Golomb, a professor in the medical department at the University of California, San Diego, advised people to feel less guilty about indulging in the sweet treat.

"I joke that chocolate is my favourite vegetable," Golomb said in an email.

In the study, Golomb and her colleagues concluded that adults who ate chocolate more frequently had a lower BMI than those who ate it less often.

Earlier studies suggested that chocolate has beneficial effects on metabolism, which may extend to lower body mass index, the researchers said.

"Bully" Will Now Be Unrated!

Bully Will Be Released Without a Rating

Weinstein Co.

From people.com

The decision comes after the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) refused to change its initial R rating, which drew controversy and attention because it would have limited the film's audience as viewers under 17 would have to be accompanied by adults to see the film. The MPAA granted the film, due out March 30, its R rating because of strong language.

"The small amount of language in the film that's responsible for the ‘R’ rating is there because it's real," Bully's director Lee Hirsch said in a statement Monday. "It's what the children who are victims of bullying face on most days. All of our supporters see that, and we're grateful for the support we've received across the board. I know the kids will come, so it's up to the theaters to let them in."

A Michigan high school student, Katy Butler, started a petition last month to change the film's R rating to PG-13 on Change.org. Butler has suffered a broken finger at the hands of school bullies – and earned support from 26 members of Congress in addition to those who signed her online petition.

"The brief use of explicit language in this film reflects what so many kids hear each day in school when they’re being bullied," Butler said in a statement. "The MPAA said they wouldn’t drop the 'R' rating unless this language was removed, but nothing can remove it from the halls and playgrounds of schools where bullied students hear it each day, except education and exposure."

Game Co-Signs Dre and Rick Ross Collaboration

Well this sounds pretty damn fantastic!

Check out the story from mtv.com

Game is no stranger to controversy but even when he's been "beef free" he still manages to get pulled into rifts that have nothing to do with him. In an interview with MTV News, the West Coast MC was asked to speak on the forthcomingRick Ross and Dr. Dre collaboration. Since both Game and Ross have had very public battles with 50 Cent, who is still linked to Dre's Aftermath imprint, the good Doctor opting to work with him might make for more conflict.

Compton's finest didn't miss a beat when addressing the situation, both praising and questioning Dre's motivation behind working with Rozay. "I mean, I don't know, that's kind of crazy," he said of the collaboration. "I think Dre know what he doing and Ross his career hit a launch pad and went to the moon. I think it would be a dope collaboration. I would love to hear Rick Ross over Dr. Dre's production, can't too much speak for 50 cent or Dre's intentions but um yeah, I don't know."

Both Game and Ross' epic battles against 50 Cent, which have since died down, helped both rappers garner more respect. For what it's worth, Ross and his Maybach crew couldn't be doing better, and Game's R.E.D. Album debuted in the No. 1 spot upon its release last year. Meanwhile, 50 Cent has yet to unleash his long-delayed fifth release, but has said that he plans on dropping two new albums back to back.

We'll just have to wait and see about that.

Hunger Games Makes $155M Opening Weekend

Jeeeeeeze louise! That's one opening weekend! Did you see the movie over the weekend? Or have you read the books!?

Check out the article from accesshollywood.com

“The Hunger Games” has filledfan appetites with a $155 million opening weekend that puts it near the top of the domestic record book.

The huge haul marks the third-best debut ever in terms of revenue, behind the $169.2 million opening for last year’s “Harry Potter” finale and the $158.4 million opening of 2008’s “The Dark Knight.”

“Harry Potter” and “Batman” were well-established franchises. “The Hunger Games” set a revenue record for a non-sequel.

It also was by far the biggest start for a film opening outside the busy summer and holiday seasons. According to Sunday studio estimates, “The Hunger Games” came in nearly $40 million ahead of the previous March record-holder, 2010’s “Alice in Wonderland” at $116.1 million.

“The Hunger Games” slid into the No. 3 spot on the domestic revenue chart ahead of “Spider-Man 3,” which opened with $151.1 million in 2007. Factoring in today’s higher tickets prices, “The Hunger Games” sold fewer tickets over opening weekend than “Spider-Man 3,” though.

With a broader fan base than the “Twilight” franchise, “The Hunger Games” pulled in bigger crowds than the top-grossing installment of that series. “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” leads that franchise with a $142.8 million opening weekend in 2009.

Women and girls have made up as much as 80 percent of the audience for the “Twilight” flicks. Though it features a female lead, “The Hunger Games” drew more balanced crowds, with girls and women accounting for 61 percent of audiences, according to distributor Lionsgate.

Despite its teen fan base, “The Hunger Games” also did well among older moviegoers. Fans 25 and older made up 56 percent of the crowds.

“The Hunger Games” stars Jennifer Lawrence as a teen who is one of 24 youths forced to compete in a televised death match in a post-apocalyptic North American society.

The film is based on the first novel in the best-sellingtrilogy by Suzanne Collins. Lionsgate plans to release part two, “Catching Fire,” in November 2013.
