NO to J-Woww and Snookie
Half of me would want them in my city, just to make things even a little crazier... But then again... They don't have the best reputation for not being rowdy! Tough one...
The Mayor of Hoboken Dawn Zimmer just made the announcement on her website, claiming the Hoboken Film Commission unanimously voted to deny the permit to 495 Productions "based on protecting public safety and quality of life concerns for Hoboken residents."
According to the mayor -- there's a laundry list of problems with approving a 24-hour permit in Hoboken, the least of which is a local policy that prohibits ALL filming after 11pm in residential areas.
The mayor claims filming the show would result in an "unacceptable lessening of the quality of life for the local residents and businesses" -- causing traffic, creating large noisy crowds, and completely disrupting day-to-day life.
Of course, Snooki can also stimulate a local economy -- so is banning her really worth it? Probably.

Drake Wants to Play WHO?
"I hope somebody makes a movie about Obama's life soon because I could play him. That's the goal," the 25-year-old Grammy nominee recently told VH1 (via the NY Post). "I watch all the addresses. Any time I see him on TV, I don't change the channel. I definitely pay attention and listen to the inflections of his voice. If you ask anyone who knows me, I’m pretty good at impressions."
As a teen in Canada, Drake starred as wheelchair-bound Jimmy Brooks in the teen drama "Degrassi: The Next Generation." He also appeared in a number of TV movies and played small parts in films such as the 2007 Robert Downey Jr. comedy "Charlie Bartlett."
As he told VH1, now that he's got a massive profile, he's being careful about future roles.
"I've been reading scripts for a while" he said. "I want to do something great. I want to do something for my culture: the younger people who are still in tune with everything going on. I’m actually writing with my friends right now."

Sources connected with the party promoters tell TMZ, the $50,000 Monster Cabana ticket gets you 2 cabanas, VIP admission for 20 people, buffet dinner, open bar, free bottle service ... and 15 dedicated female promotional models.
Thankfully, it's all for a good cause -- the party's proceeds will go to benefit the Angelwish Foundation for children afflicted by HIV/AIDS.

Would Izzie Go Back?
From accesshollywood.comLOS ANGELES, CALIF. -- Katherine Heigl left “Grey’s Anatomy” in 2010 after six seasons playing Dr. Izzie Stevens on the hit show, and the actress says she would “absolutely” like to step back into her scrubs once again.
“I always thought that there would be an opportunity to go back [to the show] for at least a few episodes to sort of wrap it up in a way that everyone could feel good about,” Katherine told Access Hollywood at the premiere of her new movie, “One for the Money,” in Los Angeles on Tuesday. “As of now, we’re like, ‘Where did Izzie go? What is she doing?’
“So, I would love to kind of go back and have one more crack at her,” she added.
While there were rumors that the now-33–year-old was no longer happy playing the quirky young doctor at the time of her exit, Katherine said Izzie will always have a place in her heart.
“I loved that character and she meant a lot to me,” she told Access.
Beyond talk of “Grey’s,” Katherine told Access that a recent trip to “The View” – where she brought adorable 3-year-old daughter Naleigh along for the interview – has revealed that her daughter may want follow in her mother’s famous footsteps.
“The whole rest of the day she was like, ‘I want to be on TV! I want to go on TV too,’” she told Access of Naliegh’s newfound interest. “I was like, ‘Oh no, it’s over now.’”
“One for the Money,” which also features Jason O’Mara, John Leguizamo and Sherri Shepherd, opens in theaters on Friday.
Jimmy Fallon Sued for Discrimination Against Men?

Former Late Night with Jimmy Fallon employee Paul Tarascio is suing both Jimmy himself and NBC Universal for discrimination!
Tarascio claims that he was fired from his position as first stage manager and replaced by a "totally incompetent woman" in '10.
According to the ex-Late Night employee, he was fired because Jimmy "prefers to take direction from a woman."
The man also claims that Jimmy's director David Diomedi "knowingly fabricated alleged performance issues," which led to his firing.
He's suing Jimmy and NBC Universal for "punitive damages and lost wages."
What do U think? Did Jimmy Fallon fire his stage manager because he prefers being bossed around by women???
Rihanna Gets Her Knuckles Inked!
Early on Wednesday morning (January 25) Rihanna began a series of tweets about her current visit to the tattoo parlor. First, she was excited about running into actor Danny Trejo (“Look who’s in the #TATTOO parlor…Danny Trejo”) then she tweeted a photo of tattoo artist Mark Mahoney adding some new ink on her back (“Tat my f---in name on u girl so I know its real!!!!”)
All of this was totally normal, until she tweeted a picture of her knuckles with the words “Thug Life,” spelled out across her fingers, captioned with “All these bitches screaming that 2pac back.” Since the outline of the words look faint, we’d like to believe that this was only a “Thug Life” sketch and not an actual tattoo, but guess we’ll find out during her next Twitpic session.

Cynthia Nixon Goes Bald for Next Role

After the blonde host complimented the star on the shape of her head, Cynthia said: 'I thought it was kind of gonna be no muss-no fuss, but I have to shave it every day!
'It's got kind of a five o'clock shadow, and you don't want to go on with that,' she continued.
'I was always kind of curious to see what it would be like. I like it; I don't think I'm gonna keep it forever.'
She follows the footsteps of Who’s the Boss actress Judith Light, who also shaved her hair for the same role a decade ago.
Of course, it is a role close to Nixon's heart - she herself discovered she had the early stages of breast cancer during a routine mammogram in 2006.
She had a lumpectomy and radiation - but no chemotherapy - and continues to take the drug Tamoxifen, which blocks the actions of estrogen and is used to treat and prevent some types of breast cancer.
Of her stage character, Cynthia said: 'She's really at the top of her profession. She's a professor of 17th century poetry. She's the best; she knows she's the best.
'She gets a really bad cancer diagnosis and she goes through this really heavy-duty chemo and she meets that challenge, but she learns a lot about herself.'
Meanwhile, Nixon has also opened up about her sexuality in a candid new interview.
The star, who is engaged to her long-term partner Christine Marinoni - with who she has an 11-month-old son Max - says it was her decision to become a lesbian.
Charlie, with him - said: 'I gave a speech recently, an empowerment speech to a gay audience, and it included the line 'I've been straight and I've been gay, and gay is better.'
'And they tried to get me to change it, because they said it implies that homosexuality can be a choice. And for me, it is a choice. I understand that for many people it's not, but for me it's a choice, and you don't get to define my gayness for me. A certain section of our community is very concerned that it not be seen as a choice, because if it's a choice, then we could opt out.
'I say it doesn't matter if we flew here or we swam here, it matters that we are here and we are one group and let us stop trying to make a litmus test for who is considered gay and who is not.'
Cynthia insists she hasn't always been gay and finds it 'offensive' that people say she has.
She told The New York Times: 'Why can't it be a choice? Why is that any less legitimate? It seems we're just ceding this point to bigots who are demanding it, and I don't think that they should define the terms of the debate.
'I also feel like people think I was walking around in a cloud and didn't realise I was gay, which I find really offensive. I find it offensive to me, but I also find it offensive to all the men I've been out with.'
Brad Pitts Celebrating With Pancakes!
Brad Pitt is celebrating his Best Actor nomination for his role in "Moneyball" with Angelina, the kids and "pancakes for everyone!"
Shortly after the nominations were announced, the 48-year-old actor phoned the "Today Show," telling hosts Matt Lauer and Ann Curry:
"We're ecstatic over here ... It means so much considering this film was just dead on the rocks two years ago," Pitt said. "It took a lot of people, a lot of artisans and craftsmen, to get it to the screen. It's a great honor, a real tribute to Billy Beane and Oakland A's organization. I'm really happy."
Pitt was also thrilled to see his other much talked about film "The Tree of Life" garner some nominations as well.
"I have to tell you, I'm doubly happy "Tree of Life" made it in there," he added. "We thought we were all but forgotten. Just excited for [director and nominee] Terry Malick."
Pitt's nomination wasn't the only reason he was in such good spirits this morning, his "Moneyball" costar Jonah Hill also received his first Oscar nomination in the Best Supporting Actor category. "I'm so happy for Jonah Hill. I can't tell you," he said.
The actor's pals seemed to clean up in the nominations this year, but that means he'll have to face off against longtime friend George Clooney, who was also nominated for Best Actor for his role in "The Descendants."
Pitt told the "Today Show" hosts he hadn't called Clooney yet to congratulate him, but was sure they would be exchanging words later, adding that there is no weirdness about both actors being nominated.
"It's more fun to have a friend there," he said. "No one does it better than George. Give him all the trophies. When you run out, make new ones and give him those, too."

Seal Is Still A Go
We're told Seal is supposed to appear in 2 segments -- an interview segment and another where he sings.
The taping is scheduled for 4 PM PT ... and so far Seal's team has not called to cancel.
If Seal does appear, it's possible if not likely that his people will ask that Ellen not talk about the story TMZ broke .... that Heidi will file for divorce.
The show will air tomorrow.

Marc Anthony Shows American Pride
Sources close to the singer tell TMZ ... Venezuelan model Shannon De Lima was with Marc when a spot-on replica of Lady Liberty was tatted inside his right wrist on New Year's Eve in Miami. Marc's 17-year-old daughter Ariana (above, right) was also front and center.
We're told "Statue of Liberty" is Marc's pet name for Shannon ... because she "freed" him from his past. While he was at it -- Marc and Ariana also got unspecified matching tats on their outer wrists.
